About Me
Hi — I’m Chris. I’m a builder, tinkerer, and lifelong learner who enjoys figuring out how things work and making them work better. My interests span across the topics of automation, 3D printing, electronics projects, CAD design, aviation hobbies, and outdoor activities.
Built By Curiosity started as a way to document the projects I was working on so I wouldn’t forget what I learned along the way. Over time, it’s grown into a place where I share experiments, successes, failures, and the occasional rabbit hole that comes with trying to build useful things.
By day, I work in a technical design environment where workflow efficiency, precision, and problem-solving matter. That mindset carries over into my personal projects — whether it’s automating repetitive tasks, improving tools, dialing in 3D printers, or testing new ideas just to see what happens.
You’ll find a mix of topics here, including:
- Automation scripts and workflow improvements
- 3D printing and CAD design experiments
- Electronics and DIY builds
- RC aviation and maker hobbies
- Outdoor gear, archery, and hands-on projects outside the workshop
This site isn’t about being an expert — it’s about learning by doing. If something I share helps you solve a problem, sparks an idea, or saves you time, then it’s doing exactly what I hoped it would.
Thanks for stopping by.
